Start with the Gospel and stay with the Gospel.
I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News
7 but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.
8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. 9 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.
10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. Galatians 1:6-10
3 Differences between what LDS says and what the Bible says:

LDS – Jesus is the product of procreation.
Biblical Christianty – Jesus is the incarnation.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Rev 22:13

LDS – We owe Jesus, He pays the debt, but we owe Him now.
Biblical Christianity – Jesus cancels the debt.
3.
LDS – We work to be like Jesus.
Biblical Christianity – We receive the perfection of Jesus.
Next steps
- Know the scriptures and know what you believe.
- When speaking with LDS friends be cordial, kind and clear – be respectful.
- Know the truth, walk in the truth, share in the truth. Start with and stay with the Gospel.
- Receive Jesus. Maybe you have been striving for perfection, and this is not the way of Jesus.
Jesus didn’t come to start a new religion. He came to forgive you of your sins and offer you a new life.
