JOIN A SERVE TEAM
The Bible tells us that the church is not a building or a place, but the people – and we feel that is true at Grace River. We are part of a loving community that values one another, our unique abilities, and has a passion for helping. We have each been given spiritual gifts to serve each other in many ways, which will make our world an even better place.
Grace River Church offers several areas to serve and get involved. As one person, you can make a difference, but together we can make tremendous strides.
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Parking Lot: Greets guests, picks them up in a golf cart and takes them to the front door, all while making sure our parking lot is safe.
Greeters: Greets guests with a smile, opens the door, answers questions, and directs the first-time guests to the “New Here, Start Here” counter.
Kids Check-in: Welcomes families entering into the GraceKids lobby and assists the parents with the check-in process to ensure they make it to the proper classroom.
Coffee Bar: Makes attenders feel welcome by offering them a warm cup of coffee.
New Here, Start Here: Welcomes first-time guests, checks them into the system, and escorts them to the auditorium and/or the GraceKids lobby.
Screen Ops: Assists with the lyrics and notes that display on the screen.
Audio: Sets up, mix, and monitor audio for services and events.
Lighting: Assists with operating lighting software.
Worship/Music: Plays an instrument or provide vocal support.
Nursery: Enjoy time loving on babies and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Preschool: Be a part of teaching, singing, and providing creative hands-on activities.
Elementary: Guide children on an adventure with music, object lessons, stories, videos, and small group time.
NOTE: For the safety of the children, those who fill the above positions are required to complete a Background Check prior to serving.
