MAKE A DIFFERENCE

YOUR GENEROSITY WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

BEFORE

This 1.59 acres of land was purchased in 2019.

AFTER
AFTER

We will be expanding our parking lot into the 1.59 acres of land.

BEFORE

This portion of the building was being occupied by a tenant who was operating in the space since Grace River purchased this building in 2019. The tenant recently moved out on September 30, 2023.

AFTER

We will be taking over the 6,000 SF previously occupied by this tenant and repurposing this space for our new GraceKids Ministry wing. This renovation will be doubling our GraceKids Ministry space and provide fun, safe, and age-appropriate classrooms for kids to meet, know, and follow Jesus.

BEFORE

Our current GraceKids Check-in area is often very crowded during the last two services. This same area overlaps with the area first-time guests are standing in when waiting to check in at New Here Start Here.

AFTER

A separate entrance will be available for parents to enter GraceKids Ministry and they will check in at GraceKids dedicated check-in counter. This will greatly reduce the overall traffic in the main lobby.

BEFORE
BEFORE

With our continued growth, our last two Sunday services are often very crowded making it very difficult for new first-time guests to find a seat.

AFTER
AFTER

We are expanding the auditorium to add an additional 100 seats, allowing us to continue with three Sunday worship services and give us the space to reach new people in our community with the Gospel.

BEFORE
BEFORE

With our continued growth, our current lobby tends to be overcrowded in between services on most weekends. People leaving service like to use the lobby to connect with others, while those coming in the door are trying to check in and move to the auditorium.  This overcrowded situation can be overwhelming for new guests entering the building for the first time.

The renovation and expansion of our lobby space and moving GraceKids to their new wing will help with overall guest experience in the lobby. This open space will give our guests the opportunity to connect and build community before and after each service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY GENERATIONS “COMMITMENT" AND MY REGULAR SUNDAY “OFFERING”?

We each decide what our sacrifice to God will be in gratitude to Him. By completing the Generations Commitment Card, you are “committing” to giving a specific amount towards the Generations Initiative over the next 2 years, which is in addition to your regular Sunday “offering”. These funds are set aside to be used specifically for those projects included in Phase 1 and 2 of the Generations Initiative.

I'VE NEVER REALLY GIVEN CONSISTENTLY. WHERE SHOULD I START?

After reviewing the Vision Guide Booklet, sit down with your family, and determine an amount or percentage of your income, and trust God with your giving. If you must choose between giving to the Generations Initiative and setting up a regular Sunday offering, choose the Generations Initiative. This initiative is completely focused on supporting our mission to Help More People Meet, Know, and Follow Jesus, and to reach generations to come.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE MY GENERATIONS “COMMITMENT” AND SUNDAY “OFFERING”?

Setting up all giving online is the easiest and a safe way to give, especially if giving on a recurring basis. You set it up once and it will continue processing on the frequency you chose until it reaches the end date you specified or when you turn it off.

IF I SET UP MY GENERATIONS COMMITMENT ONLINE, SHOULD I STILL FILL OUT A COMMITMENT CARD?

Yes, please complete the Generations Commitment Card as well. If your online giving for the Generations Initiative has already been set up, please write “online” on the card.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY COMMITMENT AND JUMP-START GIFT?

Your “Commitment” is the specific amount you are committing to giving towards the Generations Initiative over the next 2 years. A “Jump Start” Gift is a one-time gift given by December 3, when the Generations Initiative kicks off. These funds help with early buildout expenses.

ARE THERE OTHER WAYS TO GIVE?

Yes. If you have an interest in giving property, stock, or other items of value or you would like to include Grace River Church as a beneficiary in your Will or Trust, please complete the Generations Commitment Card and include a description. We will later contact you to discuss in more detail.

HOW CAN I LISTEN TO THE GENERATIONS GIVING MESSAGES, IF I MISS SOME OF THE SERMON SERIES?

Visit our On-Demand page on our website at graceriver.cc/watch. Once on the On-Demand page, click the Generations image and a page will display listing links to each of the sermons for the Generations Giving series.
