Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins.Ephesians 2:1
There is a time in everyone’s life when we were unresponsive to God
- His wisdom is not being listened to
- His loved isn’t being felt
- His guidance isn’t being followed
- We were unresponsive to him
You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. Eph 2:2
What if God has more for you?
- More purpose
- More joy
- More influence
All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. Eph 2:3
Spiritually Dead people are
- Unresponsive to God
- Don’t understand their relationship with God is broken

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)” Ephesians 2:4-5
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
