Think of a time when you were afraid of something but conquered that fear and now it doesn’t affect you?  

Dig in 

Read Deuteronomy 1:1-3 and Deuteronomy 1:19-22, ’Deuteronomy 1:26-28, Numbers 13:27-33 

How did fear affect the nation of Israel? 

Fear is the confidence that the worst will happen.  Faith is the confidence that the best can happen.  How does negativity keep us from living by faith instead of fear? 

Read Hebrews 11:6, what is the one thing we can do to please God?  Why is this so easy to say but difficult to do?  

Fear plants a lie in our hearts that we believe is true. What fears have you started to believe as things that are true in your life, but you know they are a lie?  

 Fear makes us believe the circumstances you are up against are greater than God’s plan for you.

Read Romans 8:28 what does this passage teach us about our circumstances and what God will do with all things, whether he caused them or we did?
