4 Ways to Battle Anxiety
This side of heaven we will be anxious but it’s a tension to manage.
- Celebrate the goodness of God
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
- Ask for help
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all. Ephesians 4:5-6
I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there?2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! Psalm 121:1-2
Ways to Battle Anxiety
- Leave your concerns
7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
- Meditate on good things
