I’M In – Week 3

A Difference Making life 

And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Jude 1:22 

It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.

Psalms 112:5-6 

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it  when it’s in your power to help them.28 If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.” Proverbs 3:27-28 

Making a difference will take 

 

  • Faith, we can see it 

 

19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 

Ephasians 2:19-20 

  1. Sacrifice, we choose it 

“Then a despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt compassion for him. 34 Going over to him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him. 

35 The next day he handed the innkeeper two silver coins, telling him, ‘Take care of this man. If his bill runs higher than this, I’ll pay you the next time I’m here.’ Luke 10:33-35 

He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.2 Corinthians 5:15 

  1. Generosity, we give it 

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.Acts 4:32 

We are the owners of nothing but the manager of everything 

  1. It takes urgency, we do it today  

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.  Ephesians 5:15-16
